David is a founding member and Partner of Aretex Capital, where he is actively involved in all aspects of the investment process, including sourcing, evaluating and executing private investments. David has been a private equity investor since 2010, with significant experience partnering with closely held, family or entrepreneur owned and led businesses. 

 

Prior to the founding of Aretex, David was a Director at ZZ Capital International, a publicly listed, Hong Kong-based investment firm.
 

Previously, David executed private equity transactions at Fremont Private Holdings, the direct private investment arm of one of the largest single-family offices in North America, and at Metalmark Capital (formerly Morgan Stanley Capital Partners), a leading middle market private equity firm. 

Earlier in his career, David worked in the investment banking division at Morgan Stanley.
 

David received a B.A. in Economics and History from Duke University.
